Meeting of Executive Committee ASME-UET

The executive committee of ASME-UET organized a meeting at Gourmet Restaurant, Faisal Town on October 4, 2009. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the events plan of the society for the year 2009-10, recommendations for improving communication and to provide more networking opportunities to the members.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. Farhan Younas Mughal, President ASME-UET. The guest of honor at the meeting was Mr. Usman Bin Younos, Secretary General ASME Pakistan. The events plan was presented and was discussed in detail. Feasibilities for a 'mega event' at UET, Lahore were at the heart of the discussions.
In the end, Mr. Usman Bin Younos reminded everyone about the role of ASME in the student body's professional development. He stressed the use of platform of ASME to bridge gaps between academia and industry. He seconded the finalized event plan and promised to continue his unconditional support for ASME-UET.
