Joining ASME is EASY!
All you have to do is sign up. There are always forms sitting out in the study area outside our office (first floor ME1121), and there's usually an ASME officer hanging around one of the two rooms that make up our office. They should be able to answer any questions you might have. Or feel free to e-mail us at asme@tc.umn.edu. Of course you can always sign up online at www.asme.org/students. If you sign up online, be sure to e-mail us or talk to an officer so you can get registered with us.

Fees:
There's almost always some type of deal going on that makes it pretty cheap to join ASME. There is a $25 yearly fee to join the national section, but the $25 national fee is usually waived for the first year.

Why Join ASME?
