About ASME
ASME, The American Society for Mechanical Engineers, is not for profit membership organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, career enrichment, and skill development across all engineering disciplines. Founded in 1880 by a small group of leading industrialists, ASME has grown through decades to include more than 120,000 members over 140 countries around the globe. India comes under District G (Asia-Pacific) of this large community. ASME started its operations in the student community in India around 3 years back.
